Many diesel engines and most inboard gas boat engine alternator have this connection. It can also be working with tachometer sender.

Attention: A minimum 1"clearance must be maintained between the tank bottom and the float retaining collar in a plastic tank and 1/2"clearance in a rigid metal tank. Senders can be used with all gauges brands that have compatible ohms.
